Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We also accept money orders, cashier checks and personal checks (with a 7-10-day hold for personal checks to clear).
Custom orders including custom stains are not returnable.
Cancellation Policy. You may cancel your order any time prior to shipping, unless you have placed a custom order. Orders that have used credit card or PayPal to pay for the order will be remibursed the amount of the order minus $5 for processing fees charged to us by the credit card companies. Custom order may be canceled within 72 hours of placing your order. All custom orders that you wish to cancel after 72 hours of placing, will be handled on an individual basis, by contacting us. All cancellations will be credited back to the original credit card used to purchase that item. We do not keep credit card numbers on file. If your order was paid for by a check, the check will be returned to you, if it has not been cashed, if it has, you will receive a check from Schimmollers' Wood Creations.
Shipping Process. As soon as you place your order it is received by us and then processed by us in the order that we receive them. We will E-mail you to let you know we received your order. Please remember we custom build all or our items. Shipping times may vary due to the hand crafted nature of our products, and depending on our current supply, seasonal demands and/or time of year. But saying all that: we do try our best to build and ship within 14-21 days. Customers should expect a 7-10 day delivery time after order is filled.
Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible. According to the size and weight, shipping cost are figured on actual weight or dimensional weight (any package measuring three cubic feet or larger). We have a handling charge of $5.00 to cover the cost of large boxes.
Shipment Damage. If you receive damaged merchandise which is due to the carrier such as UPS or Postal Service, please be sure to contact us and keep the box and packing. We will help to resolve the problem. We are not responsible for damage caused by freight carriers. Please do not start a UPS claim yourself, we will do that for you.
Return Merchandise Policy. SCHIMMOLLERS' WOOD CREATIONS, offers a 100% satisfaction/10 day money back guarantee. (custom orders are not returnable/refundable) If you are dissatisfied with our products just email us or phone us (419-230-9466) within 10 days of receiving your product. Please include the original order number in your email message. Please tell us what you are returning and the reason you are returning it, and obtain a return authorization email@example.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:
- Return the item to the address given to you on the email returned to you.
- Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
- Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
We will provide you with a full refund (minus shipping and handling) or an exchange if you wish. Please be sure your name and address is on your email as well. Refunds will be for the purchase price of the item and will ---not--- include shipping in either direction. Products should be properly packaged and sent to Schimmollers' Wood Creations, 11605 W. State Rd., Delphos, OH 45833. Once we have received your item back, we will contact you to arrange a refund. All refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used to purchase that item. We do not keep credit card numbers on file.
